Sometimes the Door Is Open, but We Aren't Ready to Walk Through It
One of the hardest truths to accept is that sometimes we are praying for God to change our circumstances when He is working on changing us.
We ask God for the new relationship, but He begins healing our relationship with ourselves.
We ask for financial abundance, but He begins changing our mindset around scarcity and worth.
We ask for the next opportunity, but He begins teaching us discipline, confidence, and stewardship.
We ask for peace, but He begins showing us what we need to release.
We ask for the next season, but He begins preparing our hearts to sustain it.
Because receiving a blessing and being prepared to steward a blessing are two different things.
God may open the door, but we need the emotional, spiritual, and mental capacity to walk through it.
Healing Is Not a Sign That You Lack Faith
It is important to remember that seeking healing does not mean that your faith is weak.
Sometimes healing requires prayer.
Sometimes it requires forgiveness.
Sometimes it requires boundaries.
Sometimes it requires honest conversations.
And sometimes it requires professional support from a qualified counselor or therapist.
God can work through all of these things.
You don't have to choose between faith and healing. You can invite God into the healing process.
You can pray while you process.
You can worship while you grieve.
You can trust God while acknowledging that something hurt you.
Faith doesn't require us to deny our pain.
Faith gives us hope that our pain does not get the final word.
Your Next Season Deserves a Healed Version of You
Perhaps the season you're praying for is closer than you think.
Perhaps God is preparing you for something you've been asking Him for.
And perhaps part of that preparation is not acquiring more, but releasing more.
Release the resentment.
Release the shame.
Release the identity that was built around what happened to you.
Release the belief that you have to remain who you were in order to protect yourself.
Release the fear that says, "It will always be this way."
Release the need to understand every detail of the past before you allow yourself to move forward.
And most importantly, release the belief that your worst season is the best you can expect from life.
God is not limited by what happened to you.
Your past may be part of your testimony, but it does not have to be the boundary of your future.
There are things you have not seen yet.
There are places you have not gone yet.
There are relationships you have not experienced yet.
There are opportunities you have not encountered yet.
There is still purpose ahead.
So if God is calling you into a new season, don't be afraid of the healing that may come before it.
Let Him restore you.
Let Him renew your mind.
Let Him teach you how to receive.
Let Him teach you how to rest.
Let Him teach you that abundance does not have to feel like chaos.
And let Him remind you that you are not merely leaving something behind.
You are becoming someone who is prepared to carry what comes next.
The past had its season.
The pain had its lesson.
The healing has its purpose.
And the future still belongs to God.
